Domestic Violence Awareness

At Alpha Chi Omega, we fight against unhealthy relationships, we educate others on the impact of domestic violence, and we fund-raise money for local shelters like Girl's Haven and the Family Services of Southeast Texas. During Spring semester, we collected 3,000 items for the local women's and children's shelter at our Hugs and Pampers Drive. We collected baby food, diapers, hygiene products, non-perishable food items, and so much more! Every year, during the month of October, we have "Purple Out Month". During this month, we have a dessert auction, tabling events, and education programs about Domestic Violence Awareness.
